Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Padr application ("App") operated by Sloth Precision ("we", "us", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Padr, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Sloth Precision.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use Padr. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the App.

3. Description of Service

Padr is an iOS application designed to help cat owners track and monitor their pet's health and wellbeing. The App allows users to:

• Connect and monitor smart pet devices (such as feeders, water fountains, litter boxes, and cameras) via third-party integrations including Smart Life (Tuya) and Home Assistant;
• Track daily activities including feeding, hydration, litter usage, play, and weight;
• View health scores and receive informational recommendations based on collected data;
• Access nutritional information and set feeding schedules;
• Share pet data with family members.

4. Not Veterinary Advice

Padr is not a substitute for professional veterinary care. The health scores, recommendations, alerts, and all other information provided by the App are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always seek the advice of a qualified veterinarian with any questions you may have regarding your cat's health or medical condition. Never disregard professional veterinary advice or delay seeking it because of information you have read or received through Padr.

If your cat is experiencing a medical emergency, contact a veterinarian immediately.

5. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• The health, safety, and wellbeing of your pet;
• Ensuring you own or have proper authorisation to access and connect any smart devices you link to the App;
• Maintaining the accuracy of information you provide about your cat, including weight, breed, age, and health conditions;
• Securing your account credentials and any family sharing codes you generate;
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

6. Third-Party Integrations

Padr integrates with third-party services and devices, including but not limited to Smart Life (Tuya), Home Assistant, and various smart pet device manufacturers. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective terms and privacy policies of those third parties.

We do not guarantee the availability, functionality, or continued operation of any third-party integration. Features dependent on third-party services may become unavailable if those services are discontinued, modified, or experience outages. We are not responsible for any loss of data or functionality resulting from changes to third-party services.

7. Subscription and Payments

Padr offers an optional premium subscription called Padr+. Padr+ is an auto-renewable subscription that unlocks smart device integrations, AI-powered daily health briefs, device controls, live camera streaming, and unlimited family members.

Subscription Plans:

• Padr+ Weekly — $2.99 per week. Includes a 3-day free trial.
• Padr+ Monthly — $9.99 per month. Includes a 7-day free trial.
• Padr+ Annual — $49.99 per year. Includes a 14-day free trial.

Prices shown are in US dollars. Actual prices may vary by region and currency. The price displayed in the App Store at the time of purchase is the price you will be charged.

Billing and Renewal: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial period if applicable. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.

Free Trials: If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Free trial eligibility is determined by Apple and may be limited to one trial per Apple ID.

Managing and Cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, or through the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Padr+ features until the end of your paid period.

Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified of any price changes before they take effect. If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.

Apple Standard EULA: Your use of this App is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

8. Account Termination and Deletion

You may delete your Padr account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion:

• Your account and associated data will be permanently removed from our active systems;
• Any family members connected to your account will lose access to shared pet data;
• Data may be retained in backup systems for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, after which it will be permanently deleted.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to other users, third parties, or the App itself.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including all content, features, functionality, and design elements, is owned by Sloth Precision and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information provided through the App.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLOTH PRECISION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the App;
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the App;
• Any content obtained from the App; or
• Any health issues, injuries, or death of your pet, regardless of whether such damages were foreseeable.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us for use of the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or GBP £100, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sloth Precision, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use the App after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sloth Precision regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
